TGA approves more flexible storage conditions for Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine

TGA On Monday 24 May 2021, the TGA approved an application from Pfizer Australia Pty Ltd to change its current storage conditions for its COVID-19 vaccine, COMIRNATY TM. The TGA received the application on Thursday May 20, 2021. This change extends the approved storage period of the unopened thawed vial at 2-8°C (i.e. in a normal refrigerator after taking out of deep-freeze conditions) at the point of use from five days up to one month (31 days). The changed storage requirements will enable much greater flexibility in the distribution of the vaccine and have a significant impact on the roll out of the vaccine across Australia.

Mickelson Clings To Lead At PGA In Quest Of Historic Win

Mickelson Clings To Lead At PGA In Quest Of Historic Win By Jim SLATER 05/22/21 AT 8:19 PM Fifty-year-old Phil Mickelson clung to a one-stroke lead after Saturday s third round of the PGA Championship as he tries to become golf s oldest major winner. The US left-hander built and squandered a five-stroke lead at windy Kiawah Island, but holed a clutch par putt from inside five feet at the 18th, the ball rolling around the cup rim, to stay in front. Mickelson fired a two-under-par 70 to stand on seven-under-par 209 after 54 holes, one ahead of four-time major winner Brooks Koepka. I m playing better than the score is showing, Mickelson said. I was executing. Even though it slipped a couple times, it s significantly better than it has been. I m making progress.
